Our Summary
Joyful Journeys is a childcare setting with 2 caring practitioners, working together in a setting reflecting a home away from home. The focus of the care is based on nature, kindness, respect, love, family, independence and the outdoors. We value the importance of the natural world and encourage the children to explore the 16 acres of land that we have.
Our Ethos
We run our childcare setting in a former lodge to provide that homely feeling. We believe that children are more likely to thrive and explore in a setting that feels familiar. We highly encourage nurturing in our setting by using smaller ratios to ensure that each child has constant focus and support to encourage them within their development.
We aim to incorporate nature and play within learning. This ensures that the children are able to learn through experiences and the world around them. We have a large space of outdoor land for the children to adventure around, explore nature and wildlife, while following the child's lead. We believe that to encourage independence and interest within children, it is important to provide them with opportunities to explore natural areas whilst using their senses.
Our Aim
It is our goal to create a setting for both neuro-typical and SEND children alike. Joyful Journeys Childcare will offer an inclusive and empowering home away from home for its little ones and support and guidance for its parents. We will ensure that all the children's needs are being met and that they are given the correct support that they need.
